Senior Biobank Technician

Bronagh has worked in the laboratories at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast Health & Social Care Trust since 2003. For two years, she was a Medical Laboratory Assistant in Biochemistry for the HAPO Study (Hyperglycemia and Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes).  Prior to taking up her post with the Northern Ireland Biobank, she had worked in microbiology for five years. She has worked in the cellular pathology laboratory for 4 years and then the Northern Ireland Molecular Pathology Laboratory for three years.   Bronagh graduated from the University of Ulster in June 2019 with a BSc Biomedical Science. She was then employed within the Northern Ireland Biobank as a Senior Research Technician and is currently working towards her portfolio to be registered with Health care Professionals Council.
